• Develop rhythm, timing, and pitch recognition.
• Gain confidence performing for others.
• Learn to work together musically and respectfully.

At Macon Music Academy, our group vocal lessons for teens and adults offer an energizing and supportive environment where students grow their vocal skills together. Each 60-minute session is designed to build confidence, technique, and musicality—while keeping things fun and engaging.
Here’s what a typical group lesson includes:
🎤 Group Warm-Ups & Technique (15 minutes)
We begin with full-group vocal warm-ups to stretch the voice and body. Exercises focus on breathing, pitch control, and vocal health—laying the foundation for strong, consistent singing.
👂 Skill Focus & Ear Training (10 minutes)
The group works together on specific technical goals such as harmony, vowel shaping, blend, and breath control. We also incorporate ear training games to improve pitch matching and listening skills.
🎵 Song Rehearsal (25 minutes)
Students rehearse one or more songs as a group, practicing harmonies, dynamics, and interpretation. Solo opportunities may be offered to build confidence and apply individual coaching in a supportive setting.
🎯 Performance & Feedback (10 minutes)
We finish with an informal performance round—students take turns singing a section or performing in smaller groups. Positive feedback is shared to encourage growth and celebrate progress.

Tim did a great job introducing my 8 year old son to playing drums. He was patient, kind, and most importantly fun. My son is looking forward to going again next week!

I’ve always wanted to take guitar lessons, but never found the time. Signing up was super easy and booking early afternoon lessons with Logan has been awesome! He’s really patient even when the lesson is a little challenging for me. I would recommend.
